Lucia quoted on novel memory compression technique

ECE’s Brandon Lucia was recently quoted in a Technology Networks article about a novel memory compression technique developed by MIT researchers. According to Lucia, object-oriented programming often costs a system performance or efficiency, but this new technique leverages the features of object-oriented programming languages to better compress memory. Lucia praises the MIT researchers for finding a way to make systems “faster and more efficient with novel computer architecture features.” Read more here.
