Dr. Min Xu is an Associate Professor at the Computational Biology Department within the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. His career centered around developing computer vision and machine learning methods for biomedical image analysis. Currently, his lab focuses on two research directions: 1) Cellular Cryo-Electron Tomography (Cryo-ET) 3D image analysis; and 2) video analysis for automated science. Dr. Xu has published papers in peer-reviewed venues, such as PNAS, Bioinformatics, PLOS Computational Biology, Structure, ISMB, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, and MICCAI.
