Bio

I am the founding director of the EcoCloud research center targeting energy-efficient and environmentally friendly cloud technologies. See our October 2016 newsletter.

I have the honor of working with an amazing and talented group at EPFL called PARSA.

We are investigating architectures for near-memory processing. See my position statement titled Near-Memory Data Services which appeared in IEEE Micro Special Issue on Near-Memory Processing.

For challenges and opportunities in server processor design beyond the Moore's Era see our paper titled Toward Dark Silicon in Servers which appeared in IEEE Micro Special Issue on Big Chips in 2012.
