18-475: Autonomous Control Systems

Units:

12

Description:

In this course, we will introduce the basic principles in the learning and control of autonomous control systems. We will cover topics related to the representation of control systems, state estimation, state feedback control, separation principles between control and estimation, robust control, adaptive control, and reinforcement learning. These tools are currently used in a broad range of systems: autonomous vehicles, drones, robots, manufacturing systems, human sensorimotor control systems, biomolecular control systems, and economic models, among others.
