Koopman provides voice of reason on safety for self-driving car development
The first self-driving cars are finally operating on real streets, but doubts about their safety continue to plague passengers and pedestrians. Although the world is anxious to see cars without drivers as soon as possible, Philip Koopman argues that self-driving vehicles should be held to a higher standard than human drivers.
